The hotel boasts well-maintained grounds that include a tranquil garden and a functional outdoor swimming pool with a waterslide, ideal for relaxation after a day of exploration. the owner, Andrés, brings a personal touch to the experience with his warm hospitality and excellent cooking, offering meals that are affordably priced. The proximity to the airport, just a 5-10 minute taxi ride away, makes it a practical choice for travelers. While it's about 40 minutes from the center of Quito, affordable Uber rides make access convenient. The rooms are basic yet clean, with essential amenities like flat-screen TVs and reliable housekeeping. For those who value comfort without overlooking budget, Hostería San Carlos presents an excellent option. While not excessively luxurious, it provides a secure, pleasant home away from home, with helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable cost.
